The posters of the Flora Fennica series have had several print runs and have been distributed around the world, initially by the Kymi paper mill, the Finnish Tourist Board and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as a result of export marketing activities in Finnish companies. Several of the posters have received awards in international tourism poster competitons: gold medals in London and Vienna and a silver medal in Palermo among others. Many of the posters in the Flora Fennica series were arranged in nature. Photographer Krister Katva.
